Ok, so this is pretty funny to me. Democratic Rep. Diana DeGette (D – Colo.) shows her ignorance while giving a speech promoting gun control. She is one of the many lefties campaigning for more gun control laws. In fact, she spoke in Denver, CO recently and had this to say.
“I will tell you these are ammunition — bullets — so the people who have those now they are going to shoot them, and so if you ban — if you ban them in the future, the number of these high capacity magazines is going to decrease dramatically over time because the bullets will have been shot and there won’t be any more available,” she said.
Magazines can’t be reloaded? Well, I figured out a way to do so. Maybe I’m a genius and know something no one else knows. Therefore, being the nice and wonderful guy I am, I’ll share my secret. Rep. DeGette, follow along here. You simply put more bullets in the magazine. TA-DAAAAAA!!!!!
Ok, so this woman is so far off it has to be embarrassing. What makes it worse is that her staff doesn’t know what they’re talking about either.
A spokeswoman issued a statement to the Denver Post, which had flagged the comment as inaccurate, explaining that the congresswoman who has worked on a high-capacity magazine ban for years “simply misspoke” — “she should have referred to ‘clips,’ which cannot be reused because they don’t have a feeding mechanism.”
What??? Are you kidding me? I’m on a roll! I figured out how to reuse clips, too! Want to know the secret? You simply slide more bullets onto the clip. Once you use the clip, usually 10 rounds, you can put the clip in your pocket to reload it again later.
Want to see that there must be a stupid clause in the DNC for being elected? It doesn’t change. Lets journey back in time to March 25, 2010. Henry C. “Hank” Johnson Jr. (D-GA) was speaking in a congressional hearing on the relocation of 8000 Marines to Guam. Check this out.
During a House Armed Services Committee hearing in March 2010 concerning the U.S. military installation on the island of Guam, Johnson said to Admiral Robert F. Willard, Commander of U.S. Pacific Command, “My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize”, to which Admiral Willard replied, “We don’t anticipate that.” Johnson’s office later said Johnson “is simply a tremendous deadpan” and that he was using a facetious metaphor. The video of Johnson’s comments became an internet sensation in the week prior to the 2010 elections, which he went on to win.
That just tells me the voters are as moronic as he is. They voted the guy back in! Why can’t the left get it right. Yes, pun intended.
Are these really the people you want debating the future of our country?
