Fears realized

Have you noticed how crazy things have become lately?  It seems there are more mass shooting and other violence.  There was that guy in Texas going around stabbing people, the hostage situation in Suwanee, GA, and other assaults and crimes coming to light.  Then, there’s the political and social upheaval.Gay marriage has been in the news a lot, gun control debates, states rights, ObamaCare, people suing each other over the littlest things.  It’s getting crazy.  We’ve seen our government violating people’s rights; lying to the public; treating our citizens like we’re morons.

In recent years, we’ve seen the largest expansion of the federal government, as well as the president’s executive powers.  We’ve come to find that police forces are using drones now, in some cities like Miami, Houston, and Seattle.  Obama signed into law the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act).  New York state has implemented gun grabbing (sort of) by telling people that they have to turn in their firearms and permits if they’ve been on psychotropic or psychoactive medicines.  Now, I know “psychotropic medicines” sounds like a huge deal, but it’s not.  Prozac is one.  If you were on Prozac, we all know how that’s over-prescribed, or any medicines for ADHD, you’ve made the list.  Oh yeah, guess what.  Benadryl is is a psychoactive medicine.  It’s not only used for allergies.  It’s used in ADHD treatment.

That tells me that Obama’s and Biden’s statement that no one if coming for your guns is total BS.  Then there’s the thing in Illinois where they are now working on a bill to force you to register your gold or silver.  Look at Illinois State Bill 3341.  SB3341 creates the Precious Metal Purchasing Act.  Provides that a person who is in the business of purchasing precious metal shall obtain a proof of ownership, create a record of the sale, and verify the identity of the seller.  Provides that a person who is in the business of purchasing precious metal shall not pay for the precious metal in cash and shall record the method of payment.  Requires the purchaser to keep a record of the sale for one year or, if the purchase amount is over $500, for 5 years.  Provides that a person who violates the Act is guilty of a petty offense and subject to a fine not exceeding $500. Provides that the Attorney General may inspect records, investigate an alleged violation, and take action to collect civil penalties.

Then, on the federal level again, you have the president getting involved in local politics and issues.  For example, the Trayvon Martin shooting and the college professor/police deal that ended in a “beer summit.”  Notice that in just about any local issue the president involves himself in, the victim, whether real or perceived, is always a minority.  Obama has been quick to muster an opinion on the issue with no solid evidence in the case.

Then there was the Real ID thing.  This was before Obama, it came through under Bush Jr’s watch.  It’s basically a national ID plan.  “May I see your papers please?  No papers?  Come with me, please.”  That’s what you’ll hear from the TSA’s VIPR team.  By the way, VIPR teams are already cruising some American highways.  They claim to not need a warrant to check your vehicle.  Basically, they can use any reason they wish.

We have socialism moving in on our country, the independent spirit is almost dead, having been replace by the bratty entitlement “gimme, gimme, gimme” attitude.  We have a Congress that can’t pull their heads out of the sand long enough to see what’s really going on, and even if they do, most of them are so into being re-elected and getting rich they’ll do anything to stay in.  I’d bet half of those turds would sell their own mothers and sell their souls to the devil for another term in office.

So, what fear is realized?  If you still want to know, go read this article again.  The United States as many of us knew it is dying a painful agonizing death.  It doesn’t seem that there is any real way to stop it short of repeating 1776 (which I do not want to see have to happen).

I remember as a kid, being able to do a lot of things that are just illegal now.  There used to be a time when a person could carry a gun in the car, locked and loaded, without a permit.  Those days are gone.  All the permit does is punish the law abiding people by forcing them to pay a fee to carry.  The criminals carry without a permit.  Hmmm…

I remember a day when there was no swearing on prime time TV, there were no overt sex scenes on network television.  If you wanted to see that you had to watch HBO or Skinimax.  If you didn’t have those channels you had to watch them through the static on the screen hoping for a moment of a half-way clear picture.

I remember a day when 2 girls weren’t talking about masturbating in a hot tub on ABC prime time (2 Broke Girls, I rarely watch ABC now if my son is around).  I remember a time when the worse this a kid brought to school was a frog or a dirty book, now it’s guns, ammo, and a kill-’em-all attitude.

I remember a time when even politicians seemed to make some sense at times.  I remember a time when freedom and liberty actually meant something.  I remember when those two terms were more important than getting a welfare check or state-paid insurance (Medicaid).  I remember a time that students not only said the pledge of allegiance, but said “under God” without some jerk throwing a fit.  I remember a time when we weren’t told not to fly the American flag because it offends some people.  Yes, I’m being serious.

My greatest fears have been realized when political correctness has taken it’s toll to the point that you can be sued for praying to God and loving Jesus, but it’s almost encouraged to be an atheist and defecate on the hood of a police car while burning the American flag as you’re smoking a joint and sticking a needle in your arm while screwing a total stranger and spreading some STD around like Halloween candy.

My greatest fears have been realized when federal employees running metal detectors at airports can fondle a child in a wheelchair making her cry or molesting a dying grandmother leaving her disheveled and terrified.

My greatest fears have been realized when the government takes away firearms based on how scary they look in nothing more than political posturing when there are many other firearms that can fire as many rounds just as quickly, but they don’t have the dreaded pistol grip.  However, they won’t even look at the REAL problem leading to all these crazed maniacs killing our children.  They don’t even bother to look into the mental problems these people have and work to diagnose and treat them before 26 babies and teacher are slaughtered.

My greatest fears have been realized when we have a president that apologizes to other countries for THEIR issues and feeds his own countrymen to the hounds of Hell just to make himself look better in the eyes of someone who’s rather see us dead in the first place (Muslim Brotherhood).

My greatest fears have been realized when we see our Constitution being trampled and our Bill of Rights raped of it’s integrity.

My greatest fears have been realized when food companies put more and more chemicals into our meals to the point that more and more people become diabetic or causing cancers.  So many chemicals can’t be good.  That’s why God gave us natural foods.  I know the “authorities” say these chemicals are fine for us to consume, at least in small doses, but common sense tells me that it’s probably better for you if the food is as natural as it can be.  I’ll always choose organic if I have a choice.

My greatest fears have been realized when society tells boys that they have to behave more like girls and girls have to act more like boys and gender rolls are eliminated.  Notice how things fall apart when natural rolls aren’t played?  Unisex restrooms in schools, unisex words for all things in society.  No more businessman and businesswoman, no more mailman, fireman, police man or police woman; business-person, mail handler, police officer, fire fighter.  Equality is great, but lets keep our traditional gender roles.  I’m not saying women can’t be fire fighters or police officers, or that men can’t be nurses or nannies, but stop trying to not offend someone.

My greatest fears have been realized when parents let their baby boy grow into a six year old girl, then sue the schools because they want their child to use the girls room.  Sure expose the little girls to your son’s penis just so he feels better about himself and you can feel better about yourself.  Selfish asses.

My greatest fears have been realized when I watch the news, listen to the radio, read the paper and see a country I no longer recognize. I grieve when I see we have become a country of defeatists, politically correct lemmings headed for the cliff that will surely be the end of the United States as we know it.  Rome and Greece fell when their moral code and structure became immoral and deviant, so will we.
