Goodbye to a great friend and part of my family

Today started out just like any other Tuesday.  I got up, got dressed for work, fed the dogs, and off I go with my 3 year old son.  After work, I got home and was about to go fishing.  I love fishing.  I went outside to feed my 2 Great Pyrenees dogs.  As usual, they were lying in the garage floor.  I called out to my male, Polaris, and as usual he didn’t respond.  A gentle kick in the butt usually gets his attention, but not this time.

Girlie-boy wins lawsuit in Colorado

Do you folks remember the story about the 6-year-old boy who lives as a girl and was told s/he couldn’t use the girls restroom any longer?  The pricipal said it was to protect the lettle girls from exposure to male genitalia.  However, there was never the accusation of the little boy/girl being a physical threat at all.

Hey, Chubs, you’re not just fat, you’ve got a disease!

You read right.  Obesity has now been deemed a disease by the American Medical Association.   Experts in obesity have struggled for years to have obesity recognized as a disease that deserves medical attention and insurance coverage as do other diseases. Previously the AMA and others have referred to obesity as “a major public health problem.”

Proxy War?

I’ve saying for a while now that we are in a proxy war with Russia and Iran.  There has been evidence… very strong evidence… that both nations are supporting Assad in his brutal assault on the people of Syria.  Now top rebel commanders are asking the US for support.

Edward Snowden – Hero or Traitor?

Folk, lets call today’s situation what it is.  We are in a revolution and we are fighting for our political lives.  Whether you are a conservative, liberal, or somewhere in the middle, you should care about the root of this issue: the NSA domestic spy program.

DOJ Declares War On All Non-Muslims

This article is from the Western Center for Journalism.  When I read it, my head was about to explode.  I saw articles about this on Fox News and such, but you really need to read up on this one.  Remember, folks, we live in a country that affords us the right to say whatever we wish without retaliation from the federal government.

EPA attempt to ban ammunition… again

The following article is from Jim Kouri at EPAAbuse.com.  Makes me think a couple of things.  First, the EPA has shown itself to be corrupt as the IRS and DOJ so it’s no surprise.  Second, these people are freakin’ idiots.

Hide your guns, people!

John Kerry announced that the administration will sign the UN Arms Treaty.  great, just great.  Kerry, releasing a written statement as the U.N. treaty opened for signature Monday, said the U.S. “welcomes” the next phase for the treaty, which the U.N. General Assembly approved on April 2.

More pilfering by the feds?

The other day, I wrote about the NSA’s new toy, the Utah Data Center and the threat it poses to our privacy as American citizens.  I don’t know if you remember, but Google had a problem with the FBI asking them for consumers’ private information, as well.  Google took the government to court over the issue citing that these were warrantless searches and, therefore, unconstitutional and won. Well, a U.S. judge has ordered Google to comply with FBI secret demands for customer data, despite earlier ruling the warrantless orders unconstitutional.

Internet Journey ends with the Klan

What the…?  What kind of title is that?  Well, I couldn’t think of a title that really worked, so I broad brushed it.  Basically, last night I saw this story on Fox News website about this lady who invented some goofy exercise program called “Prancercise.”  I imagine jazz hands when I see the name.  Try it… say “Pracercise” while doing the jazz hands.  Anyone see ya?  Yeah?  Sorry about that.
