Ben Franklin said it best…

Ben Franklin was known for many things.  He was involved in securing our national sovereignty.  He was also known for the Hellfire Club, but what he’s also known for is his wisdom.

The following quote makes a lot of sense.  However, look at how it contrasts to today’s attitude toward liberty.

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

If you think about that statement and then think back to countries like Nazi Germany.  Hitler said:

This year will go down in history. For the first time, a civilised nation has full gun registration! Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future!

and

Society’s needs come before the individual’s needs.

Now, lets look at some more more statements.

“You can’t have 100 percent security and also then have 100 percent privacy and zero inconvenience,” he said. “We’re going to have to make some choices as a society.”

and

“We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national-security objectives we’ve set, we’ve got to have a civilian national-security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.”

Those were from President Obama.  Who does he look more like to you?  I’m not calling Obama Hitler.  I’m just saying to look at the similarities.  Then look at what happened in Germany after.

Again, I don’t believe that Obama will order the brown shirts to round up American and summarily execute them or force them into labor camps where they will litereally work themselves to death, but I do believe out president will sell us out for his utopian society.
