Do you folks remember the story about the 6-year-old boy who lives as a girl and was told s/he couldn’t use the girls restroom any longer? The pricipal said it was to protect the lettle girls from exposure to male genitalia. However, there was never the accusation of the little boy/girl being a physical threat at all.
Well, the Colorado Civil Rights Division has ruled an elementary school discriminated against a transgender 6-year-old child by barring her from using the girls’ bathroom.
KDVR reports the New York-based Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund announced the ruling Sunday, and said they would hold a news conference Monday to explain the decision in the case of Coy Mathis, who was born a boy but identifies as a girl.
The fund filed the complaint on behalf of the child’s parents Kathryn and Jeremy Mathis, claiming that Coy has been discriminated against at Eagleside Elementary School, which is south of Colorado Springs.
Kathryn Mathis said in a statement that the family is “thrilled that Coy can return to school and put this behind her.”
Seriously, you idiots, discriminated against? The school let the BOY use the girls room right up until they felt it was inappropriate. Now, out of selfishness in my opinion, the Mathis family sued the school because they didn’t want their little BOY’S feeling hurt.
I can understand that, but what about all the little girls that have to be exposed to this kid’s penis? Also, what about the precedent this will set? What if I want to start using the women’s restroom at work? Can I? Do you think the ladies will want me in their restroom stinking it up? I highly doubt it.
Folks, this is just another step in the de-gendering of society. People like this work to make sure all things are equal, even when they shouldn’t be. This case is a perfect example of it.
You see, boys and girls are not the same. God made us different for a reason. We have different roles in life to play. I’m not saying that girls can’t grow up to be president or anything, but within nature, we have different roles.
If little Coy Mathis thinks he’s a girl, then fine, but don’t subject everyone else to having to deal with it.
