No, the answer is not firing several shots, either. I have come to believe the answer is to change the country from within ourselves. So many people preach that they want to go back to a simpler time; a time when we were actually free, when our food was actually food, when family meant something. However, a lot of those people are more into dreaming of armed conflict and the glory of restoring our country to the vision of our founding fathers.

There are a number of meltdowns I believe are coming to the US and to global markets. These things fall into economic, social, and political categories. The social and political fall pretty close together in many instances, so I’ll address those together.

Food stamp recipients across the country were stunned last week to learn their EBT cards were not working due to a power outage at Xerox. You would be understanding if the people were upset and worried about what was going on. You know, ask some questions about when it will be back up or maybe ask what they can do until service is restored. However, that’s not what happened.

There are groups out there like the TEA party, Freedomworks, and Jim DeMint’s Senate Conservatives Fund. These groups are causing major rifts in the GOP and are nothing more than traitors and violent groups… if you listen to the likes of John Cornyn, Lindsey Graham, John McCain, and Mitch McConnell.

Peter Schiff, you know who he is? He’s an economist, and a damned good one, at that. He’s featured in many articles and does a lot of interviews on various news shows. When it comes to economics, he’s a straight shooter and doesn’t care who it offends.

Many of my articles are not mine, as you well know. I give you stories and articles that you may not otherwise see. The following is just one of such articles. For a while now, I, and others like me, have been spreading the word that there may be political, economic, and social danger ahead. I think you should read the article in its entirety.

In the past we have had presidents that have done some stupid things. The list can go on and on, but I’m not going back to 1860 here. When I say stupid, I mean things that are politically stupid, not things like Clinton’s cigar incident.

It’s the end of the world as we know it! The power grid is shutting down, the stock market has collapsed, people are out of work left and right, gas prices just jumped to a national average of $20 per gallon.

For those of you who don’t know, CPI means Consumer Price Index. In other words, it’s the price of goods that people should plan to pay on a national average… inflation. However, there are certain numbers left out of the CPI figures; like gasoline and diesel and comodities like milk. Why?

Fox News is reporting about the UN’s new global tax. Read the story below. Look, folks, if this goes through, we have lost our sovereignty as a nation. The people up high will tell you that’s not the case, but if you think about it, you pay taxes to the ones who govern you. That means the UN will effectively govern the world and that includes the US. I propose the US get out of the UN immediately. However, for that to happen, we need new leadership in the White House and Congress. Those in power now, have a vested interest in globalism and handing our well-being and sovereignty over to the UN.

The title was only metaphoric. I see some similarities between the good ol’ USA and the fabled Atlantis. Both had great power, plenty of fortune and great technology, and both eventually sunk. They sunk under the ocean and we are sunk in an ocean of debt, political correctness, and liberal policies.

I’m sure you remember those books that gave you a choice to make and that dictated where the story went. It would say something like “if you chose ‘a’ turn to page 23, if you chose ‘b’ turn to page 30.” You had influence on how the story turned out. Well, right now, most of us have no real role in how the events play out on the world stage; the Middle East on fire, China making threats of war to Japan, Europe’s economy on the verge of a huge recession, etc.

We all hear the stories of wasteful spending in government. We’ve all heard the joke, if it is a joke, about the $1000 toilet seat or the $100 hammer. Well, what about our military spending $20 million for firewood. Yeah, seriously, firewood.

The US just hit another record yesterday! This time it’s not a good one. The US federal deficit just broke the $16 trillion point. I can’t even imagine having access to that kind of cash, but if I did, I like to think I’d spend it better than what those goofballs in DC do.
