Look at me now, baby!

Look at me now, baby!  That’s usually a phrase someone would say when they’ve achieved something that no one thought could be done or was, at least, unlikely.  For example, I got my master’s degree.  I, for one, never thought it would happen, but it did.  I know several people who figured I’d drop out of college before getting my bachelor’s, let alone my MBA.  So, that’s where I would say “look at me now!”  However, this is a different story attached to the phrase.

Nevada: The first stand

As many of you know, Nevada may mark the first stand against the federal government that may spark the initial volley into a new revolution or civil war.  As militiamen and women converged on the Bundy’s ranch and surrounding area in Clark County, Nevada, we saw something that hasn’t happened in this country since the mid 1800s.  We saw armed Americans show up in force against an abusive federal government.

Potential Armed and Violent Conflict in Nevada

Yesterday, I wrote about the goings on in Clark County, Nevada at the Bundy Ranch.  I discussed that the Bureau of Land Management came in to enforce a lawsuit decision that stemmed from the government’s desire to protect the desert tortoise.  He has been in dispute with the federal government since 1993.

Is Nevada the match that sets it all off?

You may or may not know what’s going on in Nevada right now or the implications it poses for the rest of the US, so let me tell you all about it.  In a nutshell, there is this rancher grazing cattle on public land in Nevada.  Ranchers have done this since the mid-1800s.

The NSA tricked ya!

All you Facebook users were duped by the NSA.  I’m sure I was one of those duped, too.  This really makes me angry.  In the “land of the free” our own government spies on us as if we are all terrorists.  I can understand them tricking foreign targets that posed an actual threat, but you know as well as I do that those tools target us, as well.  See the report from Digital Trends below, but first I want to send a message to the NSA:  Stop messing with us.

Update for Justina

This story gets more maddening by the day, if not by the hour.  How can a court, or any other agency, prosecute a father for trying to help his daughter?  You see with a gag order in place, he cannot technically talk about the case, however, what is he to do when the very agencies that are supposedto help him are working against him?  Read the story below from The Blaze. Please spread this story and let’s make it go viral!  Retweet the story, go donate, spread the news!

Save Justina from Bostonian Madmen!

The following story is listed on The Blaze.  This is a copy and paste job in which Glenn Beck asked that we, as bloggers, repost.  This is not a political story; this is not a conspiracy theory; this is a human rights story.  Read the story, forward this post, and go to FreeJustina.com and donate.  This poor family is now broke from fighting for their teenage daughter.

Been a while, but… DRONES!!!!!!

First off, let me apologize for taking such a long break from writing.  Had a lot going on and just flat out didn’t have time.  Second, I will not be discussing the President’s speech from last night.  Nothing in his speech was really surprising and it’s all the same stuff he always says or it’s all stuff we already knew he was doing, like killing liberty and freedom.

What I want to discuss are drones.  Yes, again with the drones in our skies.  Why?  Because Fox News has a story on drones that confirms what I’ve been saying in past articles.  Read the Fox News posting below.

Pay cuts in the wrong places

Congress….  When I think of Congress, I think of the opposite of progress.  You know, pros and cons.  So, when I see in the news that Congress decided to cut the benefits and pensions of active and retired military, I start to think to myself that those selfish people in Congress have their priorities wrong.  I used the term “people” because this is a family friendly blog… well, I try to keep it family friendly.

Is it 1938 again?

Is it 1938 again?  Do you know what happened in 1938?  Well, lots of stuff did, but I’m talking about one thing in particular; the Munich Agreement.  What is the Munich Agreement?

Ok, people, are we angry enough yet?

Are we angry enough, as a nation, at what our government is doing to us?  Are we angry enough about the police abuses all over the country by these globalist progressive bullies?  What about the overreaching federal government that took “long arm of the law” too far?  Well, check out this story from The Blaze.  This one, when I first heard it this morning, about set me off.

Entitlements gone awry. Was it a test?

Food stamp recipients across the country were stunned last week to learn their EBT cards were not working due to a power outage at Xerox.  You would be understanding if the people were upset and worried about what was going on.  You know, ask some questions about when it will be back up or maybe ask what they can do until service is restored.  However, that’s not what happened.

Police officers attacking American’s rights?

The most recent story I’ve seen of police officers attacking American’s rights is a story on The Blaze.  It wasn’t an officer tazing or shooting an unarmed or non-threatening man, or an officer bullying a woman at a protest rally, or anything like that.  This was another direct assault on the 1st Amendment.  You may recall the way a man, a concerned parent, was treated when he spoke out against Common Core the other day by a large intimidating police officer working as security at the school district meeting.  Well, this is a different story.

Seriously? Haven’t they spied on us enough?

Fox News
