Nevada: The first stand

As many of you know, Nevada may mark the first stand against the federal government that may spark the initial volley into a new revolution or civil war.  As militiamen and women converged on the Bundy’s ranch and surrounding area in Clark County, Nevada, we saw something that hasn’t happened in this country since the mid 1800s.  We saw armed Americans show up in force against an abusive federal government.

So, ya wanna date a prepper!

The idea for this article was given to me by a good friend.  She wrote about dating on her blog, but she won’t let me read her blog….  Hmmmmm….  Anyway, so you want to date a prepper, huh?  Well, there are a few thing you should know and a few things you should look out for, in my humble opinion.

How to get our country back without firing a single shot

No, the answer is not firing several shots, either.  I have come to believe the answer is to change the country from within ourselves.  So many people preach that they want to go back to a simpler time; a time when we were actually free, when our food was actually food, when family meant something.  However, a lot of those people are more into dreaming of armed conflict and the glory of restoring our country to the vision of our founding fathers.

Welfare: Better than work

Published August 21, 2013

Welfare pays more than a minimum-wage job in 35 states, creating little incentive for Americans to take entry-level work and likely increasing their long-term dependency on government help, according to a new study by the libertarian think tank Cato Institute.

When will DC pull its head out?

Do you remember Obama, while making his first run for the presidency in 2008, talking about how lobbyists were evil and he wanted nothing to do with them?  He went on to attack John McCain for his connections to lobbyists.

No one expects the… IRS Inquisition!

A lot of people think that there are way too many checks and balances in place and too many decent people within government for some sort of conspiracy to actually take place.  Well, that’s obviously not true.

Political Bias in the IRS?

I found this article on The Blaze and thought you needed to see it if you haven’t already.  Folks, this is HUGE.  It is now known that people of conservative leanings are targeted by the federal government via the IRS for audit.

Fears realized

Have you noticed how crazy things have become lately?  It seems there are more mass shooting and other violence.  There was that guy in Texas going around stabbing people, the hostage situation in Suwanee, GA, and other assaults and crimes coming to light.  Then, there’s the political and social upheaval.

Why, Mr. President? Why?

In the past we have had presidents that have done some stupid things.  The list can go on and on, but I’m not going back to 1860 here.  When I say stupid, I mean things that are politically stupid, not things like Clinton’s cigar incident.

How will they rid us of our “Scourge?”

The “scourge” I speak of is the Americans’ tool, the firearm.  No tool has ever done so much to build a nation, defend her people, topple her enemies.  Now that tool, that inanimate object, is under fire from the left, and even some on the right, as the death knell to the American way of life.

Where is the breaking point?

There has been so much going on in terms of federal movement toward a totalitarian government.  U.S. Rep. Jose Serrano, D-N.Y., and a supporter of President Obama, has introduced House Joint Resolution 15 to repeal the 22nd Amendment and thus abolish presidential term limits.  This isn’t the first time he’s done that either.  Then we have Homeland Security issues, drones poised to kill Americans, violations of the vast majority of the Bill of Rights; what has to happen to bring about the breaking point?

The end is nigh!

It’s the end of the world as we know it!  The power grid is shutting down, the stock market has collapsed, people are out of work left and right, gas prices just jumped to a national average of $20 per gallon.
