SPLC blaming the Right for OWS actions?

I would seem that the Southern Poverty Law Center is now blaming conservative movements for Occupy off-shoot groups like the Revoltionary People’s Army, an anarchist group that no more right wing than any other lunatic fringe left group.

Dun dun dun! Another one bites the dust! The 1st Amendment that is.

Little by little, out 1st Amendment is whittled away.

So, there has been another major wound dealt to the First Amendment.  Now, we have free speech zones, we have certain things we can’t say, certain pages on Facebook get deleted for having certain values (Chick-fil-A) and now a reporter in Pennsylvania has been barred from interviewing potential voters at an Obama rally.

The sense of entitlement is outrageous

One of my coworkers went to the public library today during her lunch break.  She came back and mentioned that even though the building is fairly new, it smells like urine.  The reason is that a bunch of homeless people hang out there and pee all over the place.  Rather than going to the restroom, they just take a leak somewhere in racks where they’re hidden.

Whatever happened to our freedom of speech?

You’ve heard of the so-called “free-speech zones” around college campuses and various cities in the US.  If you try to peacefully assemble in a non-designated area you could face fines or jail time depending on the specifics.  Then you hear about how Chick-fil-A is being pushed out of cities because of the owners opinion on gay marriage and his devout faith in Jesus.

Punished for success

The White House has released the transcript of President Obama’s recent speech in Roanoke, Virginia, and it holds a number of noteworthy statements.  He had a lot to say about successful Americans.  It would appear that the American dream is not what we, and countless other Americans over the last couple of centuries, thought it was.

Another Story with WTF Factor

Some stories come out and I think, “WTF?”  You saw one a few months ago, but read this one.  This one will make you want to scream.  Don’t let your kids see this one.  This is really messed up.  If you have kids in this sorry excuse for a school, I suggest private school or home schooling.  This is simply a story that shocked me when I first read it.  Not because some jerks in the public school system took it upon themselves to mentally rape a bunch of children, but because they defended it as part of the state curriculum.  Read the story below.  You may want to take a sedative first though.

The March Toward Socialism in the US

Many of us in the prepper/patriot/III% community have long discussed the direction our country is going.  We look at new laws and programs and, while we realize some are necessary, see many as over-priced babysitters and nannies.  Many federal programs have no place within the federal government’s scope.  In many cases, these programs were designed for a different purpose than they’ve come to have today.  What does it take to be a socialist program?  Well, if you want to get technical, it’s any government-owned, -funded, or -subsidized operation.  Yep, so federally back student loans and mortgages; socialist programs.

Soros: Toppling Governments and Changing the World – One Socialist at a Time

I found this on The Blaze after hearing Glenn talk about it this morning and thought it was important enough to put it out there in its entirety.  I didn’t want to change anything about it as I didn’t want to take away from the work MRC and Glenn’s staff did in reporting this.  Enjoy and feel free to comment.

What’s Happening to Your Liberty?

Have you ever noticed the way political movements seem to go in a whole new direction from their root cause once they get some traction?  Have you thought of what their actions do to your freedoms?  I have.  I’ve seen groups like Occupy Wall Street go from a group a liberal group wanting free stuff from the government and a bitch-slapping to Wall Street to being overrun by Communists and Socialists groups including unions like the AFL-CIO.  The Tea Party started out as a clean-cut movement protesting out of control government spending to one that, while they still mostly keep to the original message, has splintered off into several different groups that protest for different things.  Some of those groups went from being all-inclusive to attacking someone for having an “R” or “D” behind their name.  Face it, folks.  Just because someone has a certain letter behind their name in politics doesn’t make them friend or foe of liberty loving Americans.

May 21, 2012 Show – Frances Piven, Socialism, Gun Control

Socialist Frances Fox Piven

If you know who Frances Fox Piven is, you already know I don’t care much for her or her type. This is a woman who, in my opinion, should be outed as the psychotic Commie she is.  This woman, along with her late partner in crime Richard Cloward, have such skewed mindsets it flat-out amazes me that anyone would listen to them.

Is Miracle Whip Socialist?

Miracle Whip has a new cause… Socialism.  Or, at least, it appears that way.  Think it’s a joke?  Click on the picture to go to Miracle Whip’s site.

Miracle Whip has long made debatable marketing decisions, many of them just flat-out lame.  However, why would Miracle Whip’s maker, Kraft Foods, support a movement that is anti-Capitalism?

What kind of company goes and aligns themselves with enemies of our very way of life?  What kind of company says “screw you, America, with your apple pie, rock and roll, and baseball” and expects the people to just stand by?  Apparently, Kraft does.  I wonder how many people noticed the symbolism?

I say we boycott all Kraft foods where we can.  I will no longer buy Miracle Whip and that’s a shame… I really like it.  However, I like my freedom and liberty more.

Civil or Uncivil Discourse

Democratic State Senator Wendy Davis’ office was attacked by someone throwing molotov cocktails.  While she wasn’t there, herself, two of her staffers were.  Generally, when you have someone become violent toward a politician, it is politically motivated.  Obviously, that’s not always the case, but generally, I’d say it’s the case.  No one was hurt in the attack, but I’m pretty sure they had the crap scared out of them.

You normally have two types of people who commit these attacks.  They tend to be either left wing nutjobs or right wing nutjobs.  You tend to see more violence ffrom the left than the right, but you do get the occaion that some right winger gets too wound up and snaps.

Today, we’re going to discuss when to use civil discourse or when to use uncivil discourse.

Civil Discourse

Generally, civil discoursde is the way to go.  You can get up and protest something, have a sit-in and get arrested for non-compliance.  If civil dicourse is done correctly, you’ll see results in a lot of cases.

One problem you have in civil discourse is that what may be civil to one group, may not be considered civil to another.  You know, as well as I do, that politics is a heated debate and a lot of people become very passionate about it.

Primarily, you see civil discourse in the Tea Party, Sons of Liberty Riders, parts of the Occupy movement.  Civil discourse tends to get bad publicity as trouble makers and such.  You know, the left calls the Tea Party names like Tea Baggers.  Occupy called Flea Baggers.  The names go on and on.  You’ll notice that the two conservative groups I listed have not become violent, but the one liberal group has.

Uncivil Discourse

Uncivil or Noncivil discourse has a place in our society.  However, you must be careful about how and when you use it.  That’s the big problem in today goings-on.  People are resulting to violence too quickly and its not necessary.  You find a lot of this kind of behavior from the Occupy Wall St people as they have a history of attacking small businesses, assaulting passersby in nice cars, deficating in public, etc.  This isn’t the first time the left has become violent and destroyed property that doesn’t belong to them.

Now, like I said, uncivil discourse does have a place in our society.  That place is when all other forms of discourse breakdown.  In order to be a break down, there are certain things that have to happen.

1) Your civil discourse has been met with violent counter attacks,

2) The authorities have squashed all attempts at civil discourse,

or 3) the rights have been simple taken away.

At that point, I’d suggest its time to follow in the words of our forefathers and the original intent of the 2nd Amendment.
