American and Proud

There is a lot of tension in the nation right now.  The government is failing, they are on a partial shut down, the deadline for the debt ceiling is looming just days away, VA disability payments likely will not go out next month, federally subsidized state programs are closing, and the food stamp program went offline when Xerox had a “power outage.”

I knew they would come for me…

It was only a matter of time before they came after me.  The fact that I’m unapologetic in my political views and the unwaivering in my beliefs makes me an outspoken target for the sheeple on the left to go after.

Let the games begin!

So, I’m sure you’ve all heard that George Zimmerman was acquitted in the killing of Trayvon Martin.  I’m also sure that you’ve heard about the riots that started in Oakland, California.  There were more peaceful protests in other major cities of the US, as well.  Well, here’s the thing, and I’m likely to piss a few of you off, but look at it this way.

China going to war with Japan?

I heard on Glenn Beck this morning (and found the story on Yahoo!, The Washington Times, and The Washington Free Beacon) that China is preparing for war with Japan over some islands.  That set off a lot of questions in my little noggin.

Welfare and work… this is messed up, people!

So our country is going broke, no it IS broke.  People refuse to work, choosing to go on welfare with their sense of entitlement.  I mean, why work for it when the government will just give it to you, right?  That’s the mentality of a huge ortion of Americans these days.  I know some of these people personally.  They make me angry with that attitude.  They make me angry to the point I just can’t talk to them.  We all know someone who’d rather get everything they need for free.  I call these people “victims.”  They’re “victims” because nothing goes their way, everyone is against them, life just has it in for them.  Whatever, they’re nothing but lazy.  There’s a difference between those who really need it and those who feel they deserve it.  Well, President Obama, good ol’ Barry, our SIC (Socialist in Charge), our dictator, whatever you want to call him, has made it easier to stay on welfare and enslave us all to a government-run-everthing life.

So, I guess the Crusades are alive and well in Dearborn

Well, the Crusades seem to alive and well in Dearborn, MI.  We see here a general assault on a Muslim festival by a group of Christian protesters.  I say “assault,” but I mean purely metaphorically.  I’m not saying the Christians physically assaulted the festival goers, but they showed up to make their views of Muslims known.

What’s Happening to Your Liberty?

Have you ever noticed the way political movements seem to go in a whole new direction from their root cause once they get some traction?  Have you thought of what their actions do to your freedoms?  I have.  I’ve seen groups like Occupy Wall Street go from a group a liberal group wanting free stuff from the government and a bitch-slapping to Wall Street to being overrun by Communists and Socialists groups including unions like the AFL-CIO.  The Tea Party started out as a clean-cut movement protesting out of control government spending to one that, while they still mostly keep to the original message, has splintered off into several different groups that protest for different things.  Some of those groups went from being all-inclusive to attacking someone for having an “R” or “D” behind their name.  Face it, folks.  Just because someone has a certain letter behind their name in politics doesn’t make them friend or foe of liberty loving Americans.
