Look at me now, baby!

Look at me now, baby!  That’s usually a phrase someone would say when they’ve achieved something that no one thought could be done or was, at least, unlikely.  For example, I got my master’s degree.  I, for one, never thought it would happen, but it did.  I know several people who figured I’d drop out of college before getting my bachelor’s, let alone my MBA.  So, that’s where I would say “look at me now!”  However, this is a different story attached to the phrase.

Many of my articles are not mine, as you well know.  I give you stories and articles that you may not otherwise see.  The following is just one of such articles.  For a while now, I, and others like me, have been spreading the word that there may be political, economic, and social danger ahead.  I think you should read the article in its entirety.

Don’t think Iran is a threat? Think again.

Don’t think Iran is a threat to the US?  Think again, people.  the following article from Fox News goes to show just how insidious these people are.  When will the Canadians learn that their liberal ways are hurting their country?  Not only theirs now, either.  Canada’s liberal policies have also put the US in danger.  This also shows that political correctness never does anything good.

Muslim Brotherhood takes Egyption presidential election. Now what?

Anyone who follows international politics and news know the Muslim Brotherhood is no friend of the West, especially the US.  Many times over, the United States has given aid and support to Islamic groups that were working to overthrow a government that didn’t serve our needs or wasn’t friendly to us.  Every time we do that, however, it comes back to bite us in the butt.  Case in point, Al Qaeda.  We helped them fight, along with the Taliban, against the Russians in the 1980s.  Where did that get us?  No where good, I’ll tell you that much.

Politics as usual in DC? What’s the Administration hiding?

Politics as usual in DC seems to have reared its ugly head again.  You saw my post about the NSA claiming they spy on Americans, but won’t say how many Americans they’ve spied on.  Well, there’s more… a lot more.

As political dissension reaches new highs in, what seems to be, almost weekly a basis, the government seems to working to quell some of the facts getting out to the public.  The current adminitration is also, it seems to me, working to cover up more than previous administrations.

Greece: What does their election mean for the rest of us?

From Huffington Post

Greeks were going to the polls Sunday for the second time in six weeks in what was arguably their country’s most critical vote in 40 years, with Greece’s treasured place within the European Union’s joint currency in the balance.

Obama: No Longer the Worlds Sweetheart.

Obama was once the guy the world celebrated.  Kenya went crazy over the election of one of their own to the US presidency.  France acted like he was the greatest thing to happen to the US since FDR.

Generally, Obama is lauded about by the socialist countries like France.  He has been praised and given gifts and awards for doing nothing.  Well, that’s all changing.  Escpecially, in the countries President Obama has cottled the most; Muslim nations.

How do you know when you have the wrong person as president?

How do you know that you’ve chosen the person to be the president of the United States?  Well, first of all, they take your freedoms away in the guise of giving more security and liberty.  Second, they appoint only people with an extreme agenda to positions of power.  And third, they have Communists, or other enemies of freedom, endorsing them and they themselves have been involved in socialist movements.  Would you vote for someone like that?

Would you vote for someone who does more damage to our country while bragging about how good they’ve been for us?  Would you trust a president who likes to act like we’re the bad guys in the world and he wants us to be more like other countries?

Would you ever vote for a president who thinks so lowly of you and your opinions that he or she would subvert the Constitution and the Congress in an effort to make the nation how they think it should be?

Hopefully, the answer is no.  No you wouldn’t want someone like that as president.  Well, guess what, people.  I’m sorry to tell you that those who don’t want to have to work for what they have, those who want a welfare state, those who fear life to the point they want government to take care of them, those sitting on the left did it.  We have that president.  His name is Barrack Obama, or as I like to call him Ol’ Barry O’bamy.

Obama endorsed by Fidel Castro’s Niece

Folks, I want you to think about something.  If our current president was the right guy for the job, if he was right for our country, do you think he would have received an endorsement from Mariela Castro, Fidel Castro’s niece?

Cuban President Raul Castro’s daughter arrived in San Francisco, CA to nothing less than applause from the crowds (go figure, it’s San Francisco).
Keep in mind, Castro’s visa approval to the United States sparked a political outcry that reached the presidential campaign this week.  So hopefully, the GOP candidates… well candidate, I guess you really can’t count Ron Paul any more, understand that he can use this to his advantage.  While people on the left, generally, don’t care about letting dictators, terrorists, and family member of either into the country, conservatives and patriots do.

The day before Mariela Castro’s arrival Monday, Mitt Romney chided the administration for “welcoming the daughter of a dictator” and he went on to say, “We shouldn’t be extending an open hand to a regime engaged in the systematic and flagrant denial of basic human rights.”  Romney is right, people.  As a three percenter forever, I agree that our Constitution and way of life should be respected.  Allowing the daughter of a dictator whose family is responsible for such horrific crimes and human rights violations is a slap in the face of all those who defend our nation.  It’s also an insult to the people who came to this country from Cuba to get away from such behavior.
Even though she primarily focused her hour-long talk on medical issues, she couldn’t help herself, but to insert herself into our politics by condemning the U.S. embargo on Cuba and calling its supporters “a tiny mafia” who have “no scruples.” Really, Ms. Castro?  No scruples?  This coming from a family who has slaughtered thousands of people for having different political views or for being in direct competition with your father and uncle.  I guess such a family would know what a tiny mafia is, huh.

Ms. Castro went on to say that she would vote for Obama, that she’s happy he supports gay marriage, and that she believes he’s sincere and speaks from the heart.
On top of all that, leave it liberal havens such as San Francisco to welcome her with open arms and praise.

Speaking before Democratic Socialists!

Ol Barry was the speaker at an event sponsored and presented by the Democratic Socialists of America, the DSA.  The DSA is a far left leaning group, obviously, that supports a welfare state, or a nanny state.

According to the archive of the DSA’s March-April 1996 newsletter, New Ground, reviewed by WND, Obama reportedly addressed a crowd of over 300 people, discussing a theme from his campaign, “What does it take to create productive communities?”

Obama reportedly outlined how government can play “constructive” roles in bettering society.

Reported the DSA newsletter:

One of the themes that has emerged in Barack Obama’s campaign is ’what does it take to create productive communities,’ not just consumptive communities. It is an issue that joins some of the best instincts of the conservatives with the better instincts of the left. He felt the state government has three constructive roles to play.

The first is ’human capital development.’ By this he meant public education, welfare reform, and a ‘workforce preparation strategy.’ Public education requires equality in funding. It’s not that money is the only solution to public education’s problems but it’s a start toward a solution. The current proposals for welfare reform are intended to eliminate welfare but it’s also true that the status quo is not tenable.

A true welfare system would provide for medical care, child care and job training. While Barack Obama did not use this term, it sounded very much like the ‘social wage’ approach used by many social democratic labor parties. By ‘workforce preparation strategy,’ Barack Obama simply meant a coordinated, purposeful program of job training instead of the ad hoc, fragmented approach used by the State of Illinois today.

The state government can also play a role in redistribution, the allocation of wages and jobs. As Barack Obama noted, when someone gets paid $10 million to eliminate 4,000 jobs, the voters in his district know this is an issue of power not economics. The government can use as tools labor law reform, public works and contracts.

Keep in mind, folks that DSA is part of Socialist International.  They are the largest socialist organization in the world.  No freedom loving American should ever have to worry about socialists taking over and putting you in a nanny state.

This is the type of person we have in office right now.  This is who Barrack Obama is, folks.  Do we really want four more years of this?  I don’t.  I’ll take my chances with Romney; see what he does.  Maybe he’ll be decent, maybe he’ll suck.  We don’t know yet, but we already know Obama sucks as president.

So the question was, how do you when you have the wrong person as president?  The answer, look at where we are now.
