Turning a new leaf

I have decided to become a progressive liberal.  I have also decided to support, blindly mind you, anything Obama and his liberal friends say.  I will support all UN missions inside the US and abroad.  I will work hard to make the world a better place as I am now a global citizen and a huge fan of the EPA, ATF, IRS, NSA, and DOJ.

When your hometown goes wrong

I grew up in a small town in southern Oklahoma called Duncan.  You may have seen the news recently about a murder there.  Australian exchange student Chris Lane was jogging Friday and was gunned down by 3 punk kids.  The suspects later confessed to the killing and claimed they wanted to know how it felt and that they were bored.  It is also reported that they admitted they were on the way to kill another teen.  Kudos to the Duncan Police Department for stopping them before anyone else got killed.  However, there’s still something troubling me about this story.  No conspiracy, no cloak and dagger, just troubling.

Boy Scouts ban on gays in their club – Agree or not?

I was a Boy Scout and a Cub Scout before that.  I remember the camp outs, the good times, the not-so-good times, and everything I learned from the Scouts.  They’re a great organization.  I believe the Scouts are a group that helps teach boys to be men and girls to be women (Girl Scouts).  They are a traditional organization with traditional values.  So now they get attacked by the left for those traditional values.
