How to get our country back without firing a single shot

No, the answer is not firing several shots, either.  I have come to believe the answer is to change the country from within ourselves.  So many people preach that they want to go back to a simpler time; a time when we were actually free, when our food was actually food, when family meant something.  However, a lot of those people are more into dreaming of armed conflict and the glory of restoring our country to the vision of our founding fathers.

Goodbye to a great friend and part of my family

Today started out just like any other Tuesday.  I got up, got dressed for work, fed the dogs, and off I go with my 3 year old son.  After work, I got home and was about to go fishing.  I love fishing.  I went outside to feed my 2 Great Pyrenees dogs.  As usual, they were lying in the garage floor.  I called out to my male, Polaris, and as usual he didn’t respond.  A gentle kick in the butt usually gets his attention, but not this time.

Family and Faith: Important Components to Successful Prepping

There are several components to successful prepping, but there are none more important, in my view, as family and faith.  Without those two critical parts, survival will be just that; survival.  In a prepping or survival, merely surviving isn’t good, you want to be able to survive well or thrive, if possible.

I got a call on my cell phone today from the CDC.  They called to do a survey on childhood immunizations.  I asked what kind of info they needed as I’d be “happy” to tell them whatever they needed to know.
